Riverside Colonial, Connecticut

For their first home outside the city, this young family wanted interiors that felt cozy, welcoming and completely realistic for life with children. The house was extensively renovated to add architectural charm and create a true formal dining space. A concealed jib door in the study reveals a glossy red lacquer bar - the one delightfully “grown-up” room, designed so that virtually nothing feels too serious. Featured by House & Garden.
